The Hub
Adult Day Care Services (Launching January 2024)
The Hub is a new service from Casbrook Home Care, offering adult day care from trained care staff along with a wide range of activities. The Hub has been designed to deliver both practical assistance and an opportunity for socialisation and mental stimulation.
Our service users will be able to enjoy a wide variety of activities including:
- Gentle exercise
- Arts and crafts
- Walks around Romsey
- Cinema afternoons
- Light gardening in our courtyard
- Reminiscing
The Hub will serve hot food and refreshments throughout the day.
The on-site health clinic enables monitoring of blood pressure, glucose and weight, which includes BMI levels and cholesterol levels.
The Hub will also have an on-site hairdressing facility which is available to book, along with other specialist services such a chiropodist.
Fees apply for day care services, which will be bookable Monday to Friday 9.30am to 3.30pm. We also offer an hourly day care service.
Free social groups
The Hub will also offer free social groups for people that care for their loved ones.
These sessions will cover a range of topics such as technology tuition (e.g. how to use an iPad) and regular talks from charities including Dementia UK, Parkinson's UK association and more.
These groups will be advised on our monthly information board.
